♦Freezing
Panes Any number of columns and rows can be freezed (make no
scrollable). The frozen columns are always the far left columns. The frozen
rows are always the top rows. The following steps describe how to freeze
columns or rows from scrolling. 
 »Freezing a Horizontal Pane 
1- Place the mouse pointer
over the rectangle above the right scrollbar (The mouse cursor 
should
change to the drag cursor  ). 
2- Drag the rectangle down to below the row you want to
freeze.  
3- From the main menu, choose
Window 
→  Freeze Panes:

  pane is marked by a horizontal black line.

»Freezing a Vertical Pane 
1- Place the mouse pointer
over the rectangle to the right of the bottom scrollbar (The mouse 
cursor
should change to the drag cursor  ). 
2- Drag the rectangle left to the right of the column you
want to freeze.   
3- From the main menu, choose
Window 
→  Freeze Panes:

»Freezing Horizontal and Vertical Panes 
1- Select the top-left cell that will not be part of
the frozen panes. 
2- From the main menu, choose
Window  
→    Freeze
Panes. 
For example, to freeze the top two rows and the left
column, select cell B3: 
»Unfreezing Panes 
You can only unfreezing panes if there are panes previously freezed,
so, to unfreeze panes, 
from
the main menu, choose Window    →   Unfreeze Panes.

◙ HIDING WORKBOOKS AND
  WORKSHEETS 
 | 
 
●You can hide the active Workbook by choosing Window  → Hide from the main menu. 
● You can select the Workbook you want to display from the
Unhide dialog box. 
● You can hide the selected Worksheet(s) book by choosing Format 
→  Sheet →   Hide
from the main menu. 
●  You can
select the Worksheet you want to display from the Unhide dialog box. 
»Hiding a Workbook 
1- Display the Workbook you want to hide. 
2- From the main menu, choose
Window   →     Hide.

◙ Note: If there are unsaved changes in your hidden Workbook,
  Excel will prompt 
you to save the Workbook when you exit.

»Hiding Worksheets 
1- Select the Worksheet(s) you want to hide. 
2- From the main menu, choose
Format   →  Sheet   →  Hide.
»Displaying Hidden Workbooks 
1- From the main menu, choose
Window 
→  Unhide to display the Unhide dialog box. 
2- Select the hidden Workbook
you want to display, and click OK: 
»Displaying Hidden Worksheets 
1- From the main menu, choose
Format → Sheet → Unhide to display the Unhide
dialog box 
2- Select the hidden
Worksheet you want to display, and click OK:
